Listen to author and activist Josephine A. Lauren of Incest AWARE share their story to inform participants about The Incest Gap: The vulnerability of children to sexual abuse by family members, the isolation of survivors and families through healing, as well as the ineffective criminal legal models that allow people who harm to reoffend. Then reimagine and redesign social and systemic solutions to improve methods of incest prevention, intervention, recovery, and justice. Together we will dream about how to protect children, support survivors and families, and transform people who harm to create safer communities.
