History is written by the winners. During this informative workshop, we will delve back into our history books to reexamine the bias against and misrepresentation toward women in the past that leave a legacy of rape culture today. Students will be asked to reflect on their own education and confront their own bias.

Wynne Johnson (she/her) is a senior at UPrep. She is a lead organizer of SOCCS and an executive of UPrep’s Mental Health Advisory Board. She is passionate about educating teens on how to use their voice and had an op-ed published in The Seattle Times encouraging students to advocate for mental health resources in their schools.
