Saturday March 8, 2025 1:10pm - 2:10pm PST
In this interactive workshop, participants will explore the essentials of child development and gain a clear understanding of Washington’s comprehensive sexual education requirements—specifically how they are being implemented in elementary schools. Through engaging small-group activities, participants will practice crafting concise, impactful 2-minute responses to common questions and scenarios. These quick responses are designed to shift our approach from having one long, complex conversation with young children about topics like consent and healthy boundaries to fostering ongoing, age-appropriate, and meaningful “sixty 2-minute conversations.”
