About me
esl (she/her) is a Seattle-based educator, facilitator, and theater maker. She is currently the Director of Social Emotional Learning at UPrep, and previously worked as the Director of Service Learning and Assistant Director of Community Engagement at Riverdale Country School in the Bronx, NY. She received her BA from Macalester College in American Studies and Women's, Gender, & Sexuality Studies, and completed her MA from NYU Steinhardt in Educational Theater. esl is passionate about supporting students to imagine, design, and create meaningful spaces for connection, engagement, purpose, and learning. A Cancer sun/Scorpio rising/ Virgo moon, esl is also an avid reader, a volunteer with the Duwamish Solidarity Group, and an ice cream lover.
